I had been having some issues with my work van and was losing work as a result of its mechanical fault. I required a mobile mechanic as soon as possible.

My usual mobile mech is off work due to shoulder op so had a look around for another to diagnose/sort a long standing possible air leak. Booked with Marc after reading reviews. Arranged a date no probs. After a couple of days I had to re-arrange the date; no probs. Can’t recommend this company enough. clutch went on my Renault van on Saturday morning of the bank holiday. I desperately needed van for work on the Monday. To change clutch on this van the engine and gearbox need to be dropped which is a biggish job, didn’t think I had a hope of getting it done. After suffering miserably with my car that has appeared to be jinxed from day 1, the starter motor failing had me finally decide to get rid. My Mini Cooper had issues with the seat belt light. I took the car to Leon who quickly diagnosed the issue as communications problems between faulty elements in the ECU. Had an issue where my car was stuck in 6th, these guy\’s came out to me the very next morning and diagnosed the fault in seconds. The job was completed with original parts not cheap online knock offs that will fail on you, so I will definitely be using again in the future for any further faults and even services etc.

Contacted Mark to help resurrect a faded Alfa. He turned up on time at the scheduled place, correctly ignored my diagnosis and traced a faulty fuel pump. Was out shopping the week before Christmas when gremlins must have got in my car. Pretty flashing lights on my dash board and a tuneful pinging were telling me the boot was open. I don’t normally leave reviews, but felt that after the service from Tech 2, I should share my experience.
Firstly not a bad thing to say about them. Professional from the start, no messing straight up, knew what I was paying, after giving information of my problem. And it was spot on, nothing extra added. They came to workplace, as this was where my defunct car was.
The young mechanic who came to me, was spot on. And after hassle of trying to start my car again, (engine design fault, not mechanics doing) they did not give up, and got it started. The hassle this must of caused, eating into their work day, and other job commitments time. But they never gave up and never charged me a penny more than quoted.
If you are looking for mobile mechanic, then check out Tech 2, I will definitely use them again in the future. You WON’T get ripped off by them. Highly recommended.

What can I say about Tech2 and it’s director Mark who came out to me when I had a massive issue with my Peugeot that need a full programming on his diagnostic to find the fault, it then had to go into their workshop to complete everything as it could not be fixed on my drive, Mark came at the time he said and had the car collected at the date and time he said.

I called Mark up regarding an oil leak on my car, he sent someone round and they arrived an hour after the phone call. He informed me where the leak was coming from and what damage it had done to my car. I got a follow up call from Mark shortly after to explain exactly what needed to be done and the price. Booked it in for a couple days after where they came to my place at work which is a massive convenience for me. Unfortunately, due to a previous garage (another company) doing a lazy job of the engine fitting when it was previously taken off, we struggled to get to the allocated problem. I just want to say thank you to the team as otherwise I would not have known about this. They gave the best advice and quite logical to due to the extent of the damage. Thank you for all your help! Own a scaffolding firm and completely rely and take for granted the use of are vans to get jobs done around North West. One of are vans broke down over the weekend. My van battery died in the freezing temperatures.. so I telephoned Tech 2 Auto to see if they could send someone to do a jump start.
